Faith and Freedom Coalition Executive Director Timothy Head called the FBI raid on Monday at Mar-a-Lago a partisan political attack.
Head also compared the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Florida home to “the way of Mao, Stalin, and Castro.”
“The FBI’s raid of President Trump’s private residence at Mar-a-Lago serves as a chilling illustration to all Americans of how low the Radical Left is willing to stoop to perpetuate a false narrative about a former president of the United States,” he said in a Tuesday statement obtained by The Tennessee Star.
“We need to call this what it is — a partisan political attack against a likely 2024 presidential candidate. This is the way of Mao, Stalin, and Castro, not Washington, Adams, and Lincoln. It is totalitarian and un-American. If the Left continues to weaponize our Justice system and banish its political opponents to dungeons and gulags, the remaining blossoms of freedom and democracy will die on the vine,” said the Faith and Freedom Coalition executive director.
“The situation serves as a reminder of the importance of voting for pro-freedom candidates in the upcoming midterm elections. As the Left continues to steer our nation toward chaos, it is becoming increasingly clear that we must all show up to fight for America’s future this November,” Head added.
The Star previously reported that the Faith and Freedom Coalition held its annual Road to Majority Policy Conference in Nashville, which took place June 16-18 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.
Trump was a featured speaker at the conference.
“When Republicans take control of Congress, they should turn the table on the Democrats’ show trial and immediately launch a full investigation into the egregious abuse of power that has taken place in the name of January 6 – in the name of,” Trump said at the time.
